Our format is slightly different today. There are three links for you to click, and each link will take you to a combined video. The complete order is below.
A Mighty Fortress is Our God / Benediction
The resurrection of Christ is the most important article of our faith, and without it the hope of eternal life is extinguished. -John Calvin, Commentary on the Gospel of John
Prelude: I Will Rise
Welcome & Prayer Jim Sanderlin
Call to Worship
Rejoice! Let your hearts be glad!
Through Jesus Christ, we’ve been set on the path of life.
Gather in, all who live in hope.
We’re full of gladness in the presence of God.
Let your voices shout your joy,
for the Risen Christ is here among us!
Come, People of the Risen King
Cornerstone
Christ Our Hope in Life and Death
Call to Confession
Even the obstacle of death has been removed between us and God.
If death no longer stands in our way,
we can be sure that our sin does not either.
Let us confess our sins
that they may be washed away by the mercy of our risen Lord.
Prayer of Confession
Take time to pray. Tell God what's inside. Admit your sin. Ask for cleansing and forgiveness.
Assurance of Pardon
Read aloud:
Brothers and sisters in Christ,
hear the good news of the Gospel:
the tomb is empty!
Our Lord and Savior has risen from the grave!
That which has been dead is alive!
No barrier can keep us from the love of God!
Our sins are forgiven!
Alleluia! Amen!
